• Estriol 2.5 mg is the weakest and the safest against the effects of possible cancer caused by estrogen dominance.
• It can be utilized to help women withdraw from estradiol preparations.
• It can help with hot flashes or night sweats.
• Estriol can be beneficial to the skin and preventing osteoporosis, but not treating it.
• Estriol will eliminate vaginal dryness in 10-14 days when used intravaginally (a 2.5 mg strength).
• Estrogen receptors are present in the gut, and estrogen has been shown to have a protective effect on the gut lining. As women enter menopause and experience a decline in estrogen levels, these protective effects may diminish. Changes in estrogen levels can influence the abundance and diversity of gut bacteria. Travel size: 1 oz or 28 grams

There are approximately 75 to 85 pumps per bottle. Three pumps is approximately one application (1/4 teas- about the size of a dime) applied to the forearms daily although the amount pumped may vary. 

For vaginal dryness:

1/4 tsp (about the size of a dime), of 2.5 mg in strength, applied with a vaginal applicator once per day, morning or evening. Dryness is normally relieved in 10 to 14 days.

Once the dryness is relieved you can use the cream as-needed, perhaps every two to four weeks. Another option to prevent dryness from recurring is to apply the cream once a day on a daily basis to the inner forearm.

For Fingertip Application:

Wash your hands with soap and water and dry thoroughly.

Pump our ¼ tsp (2.5 mg) of cream (about enough to cover the tip of your index finger, from the last joint to the fingertip).

Locate the vaginal opening. Immediately above the vaginal opening is the urethra (a small opening where urine is eliminated from your body). 

Using estrogen-alone may increase your chance of getting cancer of the uterus (womb) or breasts, strokes or blood clots. Report any unusual vaginal bleeding right away with your healthcare practitioner. Vaginal bleeding after menopause may be a warning sign of cancer of the uterus (womb).  Your healthcare provider should check any unusual vaginal bleeding to find out the cause.

In general, the addition of a progesterone is recommended to offset estrogen dominance.
